Dinner last night at Hanover Street Social. Sitting in the corer of this cosy but sophisticated place we watched the people of Liverpool go by with a couple of gin cocktails in hand. We had the choice of going off the Christmas menu or the reguar menu... and although we were very jealous when the Christmas roast dinners came out with the largest yorkshire puds we've ever seen we were more than happy with our choices! Off the menu: We had the sticky BBQ glazed ribs to start (not pictured) and the Moules Mariniere which was mussels stemaed with white wine, garlic, cream and parsley with 2 pieces of the softest yet crustiest white bread which we happily soaked up this delicious sauce with! For mains we had the Sirloin Steam on toaste ciabatta which came with rocket, parmesan and hollandaise served with fries and colelsaw. I had the Roased Chicken Breast which came with fondant potato, sauteed red wine sauce with bacon and shallots...this sauce was amazing. However, the only, and we mean only, critsicm is that the potato fondant was wayyyy to small for me personally...but maybe I'm greedy? For dessert we shared the vanilla cheesecake with berry compote which came with fresh cream. Could've been sweeter for me personally but we still finished the plate happily! Very relaxed evening with good ambience and worth a try! Lots of Love, LFG x Have you been? Let us know your thoughts x

We were lucky enough to stay at Titanic Hotel on Stanley Dock for an early Christmas present. The hotel is a renovated storage warehouse back from when the docks was bustling. It still keeps some of its old charm pictured here in the spa with its exposed brick and curved ceilings. With saunas, steam rooms, jacuzzis and the options for treatments you will have the most relaxing couple of hours of your life...promise! Check in was at 3pm and check out at 11pm, so we had plenty of time to indulge in the fabulous breakfast on offer! Yes, its buffet-style but definitely still luxury. The rooms are amazingly spacious; and we had the 'superior' room as part of our package which came with a free standing bath and fabulous walk-in shower with a double basin (the dream). You NEED to visit this hotel, whether your from the area or just visitng this place has it all. We are and will be again repeat-visitors. Lots of Love,
LFG x Have you been? Let us know your thoughts x We are just in love with the new Mowgli Street Food on Water Street! We went as a Christmas get together and as usual it was lovely and cosy with its amazing decor and fabulously welcoming staff. We've been here before (more than a few times actually) so check out our instagram for previous photos and reviews on the food. This post is merely just a congratulations to this newly-expanding chain of restaurants - you've done it again!. One of my favourite restaurants in Liverpool and now we have the choice of two! Set in the new-foodie-haven buisness district is this majestic restaurant, it has small restaurant vibes whilst being this chains biggest restaurant to date (it is huge). Mowgli we salute you and we'll be back soon!
